Safari 3.0 (522.11.3) for Windows

Running on XP Pro V.2002 SP2

Safari doesn’t appear to support importing digital certificates. The help file has the following;
“If you need to access a website that requires a personal certificate, you will be provided with a certificate and instructions for installing it in your keychain. Once your certificate is installed in your keychain, you can gain authenticated access to the website automatically”.

Only problem is i don’t have this keychain, i think this is something on a Mac to store certificates? Anyone know?

Also i can’t get around the proxy settings button being greyed out, i thought they might be a registry setting but i’ve not found anything so far.. any ideas? I’d like to get the certifcates and proxy setting worked out, otherwise its useless for me at work, and we would definately like to do some testing on this browser.

    Proxy settings are taken from IE, I haven’t found a way to import certificates yet.

    Even I want to access website that requires a personal certificate but do not know –??. Can anyone please help me out.
    Before making my site online I would like to do some serious testing on the browser. Interface and speed are not the only criteria but some functional issues must also be resolved to launch Safari as a full blown version.

    I would like to ask isn’t it possible to install and use another browser in iPhone that works with our personal certificates?

    No dear mimi, it is not possible to install and use another browser on Apple iPhones at least as far as I know and until now. But as soon as I get some information on that I’ll definitely post on the site.

    I want some more information on the advanced features of Apple’s Safari Beta for windows. Though the browser works well on all latest version of windows yet that was not the primary reason for launch of the browser. It was intended for use on Apple iPhones.
